Gag me more!!!!
I forgot to mention in my diatribe of 'o' worship that comcast is starting a 24 hour obama channel. And today when I could not find anything but 'o' and inauguration crap on tv I switched to a shopping channel. Slap me stupid. Even they were hawking 'o' stuff. Thank God I have some books on cd.

Gag me
Am gagging over all the Obama bruhaha. The weather is more interesting. It really does change! The 'party of the poor' the Dems, are spending over $150,000,000.00 for their party. Please.... Did you know there are 31,000 troops in Afganistan looking for Osama and there are 40,000 secruity personnel in DC this week to protect obama? Please.... I hear about obama memory plates, coins, trading cards, bobble head dolls, etc. Am assuming not only will O COME LET US ADORE HIM be innauguration music but maybe we should make the hymn CROWN HIM WITH MANY CROWNS our new national anthem. GAG ME!!!!!

obama exercxise and diet plan
I have an idea. Everytime obama comes on tv, which is a lot, physically get up and change the channel. No cheating and using the remote. Get up, move and change the channel. When ever michelle obama comes on the tv, run to the bathroom and puke. Admit it. She truly makes you want to hurl. Just do it. This could solve the obesity problem in America. And think of the effect on the cost of health care!

Yep
Yep, it is a new year. It is full of CHANGE. Obama has made me hate that word. Rick is looking at changing positions at work. McAlister has moved to DC. Jamie has put the wedding on hold. I haven't changed yet. I slept in til 9. Am having my coffee and planning to go out for lunch. I don't see house cleaning plans or going to Curves in those plans. Yep. Much the same. WAIT!!!! I'm gonna wash and change the sheets on the bed. I am organizing my craft room. Organization is a change for me!!!
I am disgusted everyday at the news on tv. I really can not stand to watch it much. I keep thinking about the recent elections and how WE ARE SCREWED. Now you think about this. Former Pres. Jimmy Carter, who I have NEVER liked, travels the world to make sure elections are conducted properly. Does Minnesota ring a bell to you? It is a state in the US of A and it is steeped in voter fraud. Have you heard ole Jimmy complain about it? I sure haven't. Yep.

Christmas '08
Awesome. That is the best way to describe our Chritmas this year. Well, maybe blessed beyond measure is better. Ok. Awesomly blessed beyond measure. Got it. Anyhow, it was good. Mck got home and got warm after learning about cold in Minneapolis. There were some 70* days while she was here. Jamie had time off to spend with all of us. And Rick was even around for most things. Michael, Jamie's fiancee, spent some time with us and got to know the family a little better. He still plans to marry into the family. Because of his going into the navy palns, the wedding date is a bit iffy.
I got a 22 rifle for Christmas, and yes, I did ask for it. The weather was super nice Chritmas Day so we ditched our tradition of going to the movie and went shooting instead. Mcki had never shot a gun, and Jamie only a few times. Mck was better with my pistols, a 45 and a 380. Jamie was better with the rifle. The very first thing I aimed at with my rifle, I hit. Booyah!!!!
Jamie, Rick and Mcki are all back at work. Our dryer died so I went shopping for that yesterday. The new washer and dryer arrive this week. Then I ate sugar cookies and fudge and took a nap. THEN I went to Curves. Today, Rick took all the cookies to work. There are a few things I have absolutley no control over and no desire to have control over. One of those is my appetite for my special sugar cookies.
The decorations are coming down slowly but surely with a lot of dusting going on. Hey, some of those places may not get dusted again for a year. I'm taking my time and doing it right. Now I'm gonna take a shower and go to Curves. I have a lot of cookies to work at not becoming permanent on my body.

FINALLY
Well, it finally got cold. It is hard to get a good dose of Christmas Spirit when it is 70* outside and you're wearing shorts, which means you still have to be shaving your legs and it is
Dec. 20th. I had to go to an afternoon Christmas party. What was I suppose to wear, an
Easter frock? It's a good thing I have red Birkenstocks and green Birkenstocks. And, oh yeah, I'm the only person I know that has a Santa Hawaiian shirt. I get a lot of use from it in West Texas. And because it is 70* one day and 35* the next, I keep a nice peicure all year round. Merry Christmas.

GRINCH
The Grinch must have stolen my Joyful spirit. It has been a rough day. The bank's computers are still down and prolonging our banking nightmare. Don't let your wallet get stolen!!!!! Rick has spent hours on line trying to put credit freezes on his name and ss #. He has had to get new DL and has been to the ss office. Now we have to change all our banking. This would be a hassle anytime, but right at Christmas is especially rough. Today has really sucked.
But tomorrow will be another day and I will just have to get a grip and get joyful again.
I need chocolate.
